Holly Willoughby has reportedly decided to sell the black Mini Cooper she was driving when she broke a scooter driver’s neck earlier this year.
The old This morning The star, 44, was involved in the incident on August 28, 2025 and pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention.
The man also suffered a broken toe in the collision, Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court heard on Tuesday.
Holly was given six penalty points and fined £2,444 including court costs, to be paid within 14 days.
Sources said The Sun that Holly called a dealer to help her get rid of the car and said “the sooner she can take it off the road and leave for good, the better.”
“Holly was absolutely devastated to have caused this accident. It really shook her up,” they said.
“Holly wants a fresh start and doesn’t feel good driving the car after what happened. “Now she just wants to move on and get rid of the Mini.”
However, Holly did not show up for Tuesday morning’s hearing. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Police prosecutors sought to have the incident classified as Category 1A, the most serious offence.
Following arguments from the star’s defense, magistrates ruled that the incident fell under category 1B and a serious offense.
