- SPANGRAM: BEAUTY SALON
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: Perfect
Just like JRR Tolkein yesterday, today’s research topic was a mystery to me – but I still managed to find a passage.
When you find a non-game word like “branding”, it’s hard not to convince yourself that it must be part of the spangram, so I wasted a while trying to attach another word to it before giving up – and completely failed to spot BRAID.
I did, however, see BEAUTYSALON, which put me on the right track.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Saturday December 6, Match #643)

- COUNTY
- RING
- DWARF
