Pamela Anderson is finally setting the record straight regarding her whirlwind romance with Liam Neeson.
In a new interview with People magazine on November 9, the Baywatch alum revealed that she and Taken The star shared what she described as an “intimate week” together after filming wrapped – a brief but memorable chapter that she said was completely real.
“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short time, but only after filming was over,” Anderson said, explaining that they spent time together at his home in upstate New York. Despite their couple’s headlines, she noted that the visit was far from crazy, adding that she “had [her] their own room,” and that their “assistants both came” while “even the family passed by.”
Yet the connection was undeniable. Anderson recalls that Neeson took her to a small French restaurant where he introduced her as “the future Mrs. Neeson” and spent quiet time in his garden, where she “tended a rose bush overgrown with mint.” She said he appreciated the help, calling their time together a “wasted week.”
Although they split up to work on separate films, they reunited while promoting The naked gundescribing their dynamic as “a bit like a Nancy Meyers movie.” Anderson laughed off suggestions their relationship was staged, saying: “A publicity stunt? It’s real. We have real feelings.”
Today, she says they are “best friends, honestly” and that Neeson continues to support her career. The actor also openly praised her, saying People“I’m madly in love with her… She’s just great to work with.”
