King Charles has apparently received some exciting news: the monarch’s great dream is coming true.
According to a report from GB NewsKing Charles’s dream of opening more royal residences to the public throughout the year is a step closer to reality after Balmoral announced it would open its doors.
The monarch is allowing the public to discover the interior of the royal residence in the Highlands this summer.
This is the second year in a row that King Charles has opened Balmoral to the public.
Balmoral Palace has announced on its official Instagram account that tickets for this summer at Balmoral Castle are now open.
Sharing a video, the palace said: “From Tuesday April 1 to Sunday August 10, you can explore our gardens, exhibitions and more, open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visitors will have the chance to discover the exciting changes HM the King has made to the gardens, including the Thistle Maze, the Celtic Maze Garden and new plantings of trees, shrubs and topiaries.
“In 2025, the exhibition in the ballroom will continue the gardens theme, showcasing the history of Balmoral Castle Gardens over the past 170 years and providing an insight into HM King Charles III’s vision for the future.”
