ISLAMABAD:
The PTI has decided to begin preparations for holding intra-party elections at the earliest.
Following the instructions of PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja, a key committee was formed to conduct a comprehensive review of the party’s constitution.
The committee was tasked with identifying and remedying all deficiencies in the constitution and bringing it in line with the comparative standards of other political parties. An official notification has also been issued in this regard.
The notification said the necessary amendments to the constitution are considered essential to avoid possible objections from the ECP.
