Vin Diesel has just left the Fast and Furious fans stunned by surprise announcement.
The 58-year-old shared a social media post hinting at a potential appearance by famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo in the upcoming film Fast.
However, the post’s caption was changed as it first mentioned that Ronaldo was supposed to star in the franchise’s prequel titled The Bandoleros in 2009, but that didn’t happen.
But now the caption of the post confirms that there is a role specifically written for the footballer in the upcoming film. Fast and Furious 11.
Along with a photo, Vin wrote: “Everyone has been asking if he will be part of the Fast mythology… I have to tell you he is real. We wrote a role for him…”
Following the announcement, the internet was flooded with reactions from fans who think it’s going to be “wild.”
One wrote: “We also had Cristiano in Fast X before GTA 6. It’s crazy.”
Another fan commented: “Vin Diesel is the only actor to have Neymar and now Cristiano in a movie. The next one will be Messi.”
Fast X: Part 2 is expected to be released in April 2027. It will reunite Diesel with Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Momoa, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Sung Kang.
