Militant Ikramullah alias Maulvi Insafullah killed, linked to AC Shah Wali Wazir’s murder
Security forces carry out operations in Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan, killing 15 militants, including a suspect in the killing of a deputy commissioner. In another incident, unidentified individuals blew up a government school in North Waziristan.
According to details, security forces carried out an operation in Mamand Khel area of Bannu, killing militant Ikramullah, also known as Maulvi Insafullah, linked to the murder of North Waziristan Deputy Commissioner Shah Wali Wazir.
Ikramullah was affiliated with the banned Gul Bahadur group and had played a central role in the attack on Shah Wali Wazir. Two of his associates, Ataur Rehman and Abu Saleh, were also killed during the operation, while another militant, Darvesh, was injured.

AC Shah Wali and three others were martyred on December 2 when unidentified assailants ambushed their vehicle on Miranshah Road, police and district officials said. The deputy commissioner was traveling from Miranshah to Bannu as part of his official duties. According to police, assailants on motorcycles opened fire on the vehicle before setting it on fire and fleeing.
Separately, five militants were killed instantly during a targeted, intelligence-led counter-terrorism operation carried out by security forces in North Waziristan.
Meanwhile, in Ipi village in Mir Ali tehsil, North Waziristan, unidentified individuals destroyed the Lal Salam Kot Government Girls Primary School using explosives.

Unidentified attackers have repeatedly targeted government schools in North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Bannu and Lakki. In these areas, the banned group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has imposed a so-called ban on girls’ education.
In another intelligence operation carried out in Aba Shaheed village on the outskirts of Kulachi tehsil in Dera Ismail Khan, security forces killed 10 militants. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to find the remaining militants.
