I came very close to the edge today, suffering from two bad guesses – the first was FEAST, where I first guessed “beast” (luckily I didn’t guess “yeast” afterwards), then took two turns to get TWINE.
SNOOP seemed risky, but knowing that it started SN and contained an O, it was a 50/50 choice between that and “snowy.”
