Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the government neither suggested declaring ex-PM Imran Khan’s personal residence in Bani Gala as a sub-jail nor under pressure from anyone or to free the founder of the PTI.
“The decision regarding the release of the PTI founder from prison must be taken by the courts. I have no connection with the judiciary nor am I a soothsayer who can predict events in advance,” he said. said Asif during a visit to the Business Facilitation Center in his hometown.
“The claims regarding Imran’s transfer from Adiala jail to another place are being made by PTI members themselves,” he added. Asif asserted that the country’s economic indicators are gradually improving and attempts made by Imran Khan and the PTI to harm the country have failed.
