James Cameron reveals his plans for the next film after Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Titanic the director claimed he planned to quit Avatar with restart of Terminator.
“Once the dust settles on Avatar, in a few months, I’m really going to dive into it,” Cameron explained. “There are a lot of narrative problems to solve. The biggest one is how do we stay ahead of what’s really happening enough to make it science fiction?”

He mentioned that 2019 Terminator: Dark Fate was intended to be a fitting conclusion to the actor’s decades-long career as T-800.
Instead, Cameron envisions a broader reinvention of the franchise, focusing on themes of artificial intelligence, time wars, and superintelligence.
The 71-year-old stressed that the new film would not rely on nostalgic callbacks but would push the story into uncharted territory.
The first film in the franchise was released in 1984, followed Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), widely considered one of the greatest action films ever made.
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Hello Terminator, Genisys Terminator, Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) followed the first two films.
