Nauman, the main accused in a case involving the alleged torture of a domestic worker in the buffer zone, claimed that he had been falsely implicated and that the viral images showed only a partial view of the incident, obscuring the full context.
In a video statement circulating on social media, Nauman, a resident of Sector 15-B, Buffer Zone, which falls under the jurisdiction of Gabol Town Police Station, further claims that if the full video had been released, it would have revealed the true sequence of events. He insists the clip misrepresents the situation and that only part of the incident was shared intentionally to damage his reputation.
Nauman alleges that the domestic worker, Yasmeen Bibi, was instigated by a ground floor tenant, Mukhtiar. He claims that Mukhtiar had been pressuring him to leave the house for some time and had disagreements with him, including over issues of water supply. According to Nauman, Mukhtiar played a key role in inciting Yasmeen against her family.

Nauman describes an incident that occurred on December 10, when he returned home from work and allegedly found Yasmeen holding his son by the mouth and physically beating him. “No father can tolerate seeing his child tortured,” Nauman said.
In a fit of anger, he admitted to hitting Yasmeen in an attempt to intervene and protect his son. However, he insists the incident was distorted, saying the partial release of the video led to a false narrative.
Nauman further states that during the altercation, Yasmeen also punched him, hitting his face and eyes, and even biting him. He claims that Mukhtiar, instead of intervening, filmed the incident, which he says is clear evidence of a plot against him.
Nauman and his wife also claimed that Yasmeen had previously assaulted their son twice.
According to Nauman, after the incident, he and his wife went to the Gabol town police station to report the matter. However, they claim the police refused to register a case against Yasmeen, saying no case could be filed against a woman. The police reportedly acknowledged that Nauman had made a mistake in assaulting Yasmeen, but took no further action on the matter.
In his video, Nauman repeatedly admits to his wrongdoing and expresses regret for his actions, but he also claims that Yasmeen’s supporters demanded money in exchange for withdrawing the complaint, a demand he refused to grant.
On December 13, Yasmeen Bibi filed an FIR against Nauman at the Gabol town police station, accusing him of assault. The incident has sparked public interest, with both sides presenting conflicting versions of events, and the investigation is ongoing.
