Prince William attacked by dog while filming important video

Prince William stops mid-filming as woman and dog crash during royal walk

Prince William wasn’t just promoting green spaces, he almost made an appearance in a drama about dog walking.

The Prince of Wales was in Windlesham’s Field of Remembrance park to film a video with England football legend Jill Scott for the centenary of the charity Fields in Trust, which protects parks, playing fields and sports fields when an unsuspecting local resident stumbled onto the set.

The woman, outside with her dog, froze when her off-leash puppy rushed toward William, eliciting an unforgettable “Oh my God!” which was filmed and quickly circulated online.

William, a well-known dog lover who has even brought his own cocker spaniel, Orla, to previous shoots, took it in stride, laughing at the interruption while Scott soothed both the walker and the furry intruder.

The dog’s owner, visibly troubled, rushed to apologize, while Scott calmly reassured her: “It’s okay, don’t worry.”

William and Scott were in good spirits as they discussed the vital role green spaces play for communities, especially for children to get fresh air and exercise.

Scott, who grew up playing soccer in local parks and is now president of Fields in Trust, explained how those same fields shaped her legendary career.
