Weapons, ammunition and explosives recovered from the hideout of terrorists involved in numerous activities in the region
Security forces killed five terrorists belonging to Indian proxy group ‘Fitna al Hindustan’ during an intelligence operation in Balochistan’s Kohlu district, Inter-Services Public Relations said.
“During the operation, our forces fought the terrorists effectively, and after an intense firefight, five Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the military’s media wing reported. The IBO was carried out on Thursday. Arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the hideout of the terrorists, who were actively involved in many terrorist activities in the region.
Disinfection operations are underway to eliminate all remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region, the ISPR said. The relentless anti-terrorism campaign, under the vision of Azm e Istehkam, will continue in full swing, carried out by the security and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan, to eradicate the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, he added.
A day ago, security forces also killed 10 terrorists, including a high-value target, during separate intelligence operations in Kalat district of Balochistan and Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the ISPR, an intelligence operation was carried out on December 24 in the general area of Kulachi in Dera Ismail Khan district following reports of the presence of Khwarij. “During the conduct of the operation, the troops actually attacked the Khwarij site. As a result, two Khwarij, including leader Dilawar, were sent to hell,” the ISPR said in a statement.
