Princess Anne reunites with Peter Phillips and Harriet at Sunday service

Princess Anne reunites with her eldest son Peter Phillips and his fiancée Harriet for a peaceful post-Christmas reunion at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate.

Anne was among the royals to grace the church on Sunday morning, joining King Charles and other members of the family.

The Princess Royal was accompanied by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, as well as her close family, including daughter Zara Tindall and grandchildren Mia and Lena, who both brought an extra smile to the crowd.

Peter Phillips’ appearance followed the family’s Christmas Day celebrations, after he and his fiancée spent the holiday privately with his family.

The couple, engaged since August, continues to keep their party times relatively discreet.

David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, and his daughter Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones were also seen adding even more members of the extended Windsor clan to Sunday’s attendance.

Andrew was notably absent, recently seen driving alone near Windsor Castle amid continuing fallout from his controversial links to Jeffrey Epstein.

Nonetheless, his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, have made a supportive appearance at previous Christmas services.

The two appearances showed that the sisters are not “guilty by association”, even if their father remains distant from family events.

After Thursday’s Christmas reunion with the extended family, King Charles is expected to enjoy a few quieter days at Sandringham before resuming his official engagements in the new year.
