The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has once again issued a show-cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat for violating party discipline, Express News reported.
In a notice issued on Monday, the PTI leadership reprimanded party chief Sher Afzal Marwat, known for his fiery speech, for making statements contrary to the party’s official position.
Additionally, Marwat was barred from representing the party in the media until he submitted a response to the show cause notice. The show cause notice was issued by PTI Additional General Secretary Firdous Shamim Naqvi.
The notice, issued under the leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, said that Sher Afzal Marwat had previously violated party policy and made statements without due consideration. He has seven days to submit his response.
It is noteworthy that just a few days ago, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat broke his silence on internal differences in the party, stating that if anyone speaks against him, he should not expect his silence in return.
It is worth noting that last year, the PTI issued a show-cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat for violating the party’s code of conduct with his recent remarks targeting senior leaders and Saudi Arabia.
The notice accused Marwat of making damaging statements and straining relations within the party.
