It was a confusing game for the most part, mainly because I didn’t understand what the theme was until late in the game.
Getting words that aren’t game-related was no problem, but the ones we actually needed posed a challenge – so I asked for a hint to get started.
Favoring speed over elegance has become a cultural trend in food, although I have to admit that it confused me for a long time and I was too embarrassed to ask what friends meant when they said they were going to eat “dirty” pizza.
Were they going to eat it off the floor (Mmmm…floor pizza) or were the ingredients so fresh they were still covered in dirt?
Ultimately, I realized it was dirty because it was meant to be some sort of shameful phrase – we know it’s bad for us, but we love it.
