KARACHI:
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started preparations for Ramazan by inviting tenders for the purchase of dates and fruit juices to be served to iftar passengers on domestic and international flights during the holy month.
Under the tender, 130,000 packets of dates, each weighing between 30 and 35 grams, will be purchased for distribution on flights during Ramazan. The airline has also issued a separate tender for the supply of 200ml juice packs, with millions of units to be purchased for the iftar service.
Interested suppliers have been requested to submit their applications to PIA’s supply chain department by January 14.
