Minnie Driver has spoken candidly about finding love in her 50s with her fiancé, Addison O’Dea.
THE Goodwill Hunt The actress, 55, has previously had relationships with Matt Damon, John Cusack, Josh Brolin and shares a son, Henry, 17, with Timothy J. Lea.
Minnie is now engaged to the 46-year-old American filmmaker.
The couple have been in a relationship since 2019 and have decided to keep their romance private.
In a new interview, Minnie gave a rare insight into her relationship and said women should try to free themselves from the pressure of finding a man.
She told Grazia: “1,000% accept the idea that you will never meet anyone again. Sit with it. Become okay with this for the party.
“So if a man comes into your life, great. And if a man doesn’t come into your life, that’s also great. I would have been fine if Addison never showed up, although I’m so glad he did. But we must forget the idea that we are incomplete if we don’t have a man. This is not true.
Minnie recently starred in Netflix Run awayan eight-episode series, based on the hit crime thriller, which follows Simon Greene (played by James Nesbitt) as he searches for his daughter Paige (Ellie de Lange).
