ISLAMABAD:
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), following the approval of the federal cabinet, has notified the policy framework for Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) services in Pakistan to promote competition, innovation and better choice for consumers in the telecommunications sector.
This framework allows MVNOs to offer domestic and next-generation mobile services under their own brand through commercial agreements with licensed mobile network operators, without holding spectrum, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
