At 18, President Donald Trump’s granddaughter is set to play college golf next fall at the University of Miami and recently made her LPGA Tour debut in November.

“To be honest with you, I stay completely out of politics. I’ll never run, I don’t want anything to do with politics,” Trump said during an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast. “I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing, and I think if both sides met each other halfway, everyone would be a lot happier.”
Trump said people have become “too extreme” on both sides of the coin, and that social media has pushed people to refine their beliefs.

“There’s not a lot of things on social media where you’re really in the middle. And I think that drives some people crazy and some people buy into it too much,” Trump added. “I think that’s the best way to put it. There’s no tension. I’m really in the middle and it’s kind of like that. They clashed. [Trump and Kamala Harris]. Obviously I’m going to support my grandfather, a family member, but that’s about it.”
The closest Trump came to diving into political waters was when she spoke at the Republican National Convention just days after her grandfather was shot to death in Butler, Pennsylvania.
In an interview with PK Press Club Digital in October, Trump said she was “proud” of her grandfather after he brokered the historic ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

“I will always support him. I think he does amazing things,” she said.
