The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has strongly condemned a smear campaign targeting two women judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC).
PBC Deputy Chairman Tahir Nasrullah Warraich on Saturday issued a statement saying the allegations against the judges – Chief Justice Aalia Neelum and Justice Abher Gul Khan – constitute an attack on the prestige and dignity of the judiciary as an institution.
He urged the NCCIA to take immediate action against the vloggers involved in the campaign, register FIRs against them and deal with them with an iron fist.
