Gigabyte focused heavily on AI at CES this year, particularly on the data center side. But for consumer technology, the company has focused heavily on its laptop and accessories wing with refreshed systems across the range.
If you’re trying to narrow down the most worthy Gigabyte launches of your time, these are the three to watch.
Aorus Master 16 AMD
The Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 was one of the best TechRadar gaming laptops at Computex last year, and Gigabyte is showing off an AMD model at CES this year that you won’t want to miss.
With an AMD Ryzen Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU up to RTX 5090, and a 16-inch 240Hz OLED display, the Aorus Master 16 AM6H is a worthy refresh of the Aorus Master 16 2025. Of course, the major difference between the two versions of the Aorus Master 16 is the processor, but the chassis is also 17% thinner. than the 2025 model. Reducing a gaming laptop by 17% is no small feat in general. But if Gigabyte’s newer, thinner Aorus Master 16 can achieve the same RTX 5090 performance, that’s some impressive thermal engineering.
RTX 5060 Ti AI Case
Although it’s designed for AI, the RtX 5060 Ti AI Box is an eGPU enclosure that brings Nvidia Blackwell graphics to any laptop or portable device thanks to its Thunderbolt 5 connection.
If you have an older gaming laptop or iGPU device that could use some additional gaming or LLM processing power, the RTX 5060 Ti AI Box is a solid way to upgrade without buying a whole new computer. And unlike the RTX 5090 AI Box, you can actually afford the 5060 Ti.
While the 5060 Ti AI Box isn’t exactly designed to be an eGPU on the go, it’s definitely more portable than the water-cooled RTX 5090 AI Box, which is another point in its favor. While neither Gigabyte eGPU is upgradeable, if you’re considering getting an eGPU, it’s helpful to be able to take it with you without worrying about the integrity of your spine.
MO27Q28GR OLED
We saw a lot of interesting monitors this year, between 5K IPS displays and low latency OLED. But the Gigabyte MO2728GR stands out with its proprietary Hyper-Nits technology, which can boost HDR brightness by up to 30% to boost screen brightness without blowing out highlight detail or crushing lowlights.
The MO27Q28GR is a tandem OLED with a maximum resolution of 1440p and a refresh rate of 280Hz, which is more than enough for most games. And its latency is ultra low with a response time of 0.03 ms.
