MSI’s big updates for the year have primarily focused on the company’s business and AI devices, between laptops, desktops and all-in-one PCs.
MSI also introduced a new ice blue colorway for the Claw 8 AI+ and updated its desktop component lineup for a new ecosystem. But four new products really shined in MSI’s new lineup and it wasn’t just a chipset refresh or a new coat of paint.
Raider 16 Max HX
This year, CES didn’t feature any brand-new gaming processors, but that didn’t stop MSI from updating the Raider 16 for even more power. Promising an astonishing 300W of power, the Raider 16 Max HX is MSI’s “most powerful laptop ever”. Which is saying a lot considering how powerful last year was Raider A18 HX.
The Raider 16 Max HX’s incredible 300W total power will be split between the laptop’s Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor and its Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 GPU with a split of 125W to the CPU and 175W to the GPU.
Additionally, it has a quick access panel on the bottom cover to upgrade memory and storage more easily. So even if the Raider 16 Max HX costs more than your rent, you’ll be able to keep it for years.
Prestige 14 Flip AI
The Prestige 14 Flip AI is similar to last year’s Summit 13 AI+although it features the sleek new Prestige design rather than the black and gold color scheme of the Summit and is equipped with the new Intel Core Ultra 300 series processors.
With the MSI Pen 2 and a 360-degree convertible hinge, the Prestige 14 Flips are the most portable and versatile of the new Prestige line.
Vision RS AI 2nd generation
MSI also updated the Vision RS AI Office This year. Featuring a seamless curved glass panel and an all-white casing, the Vision RS AI 2nd Gen is a powerful, liquid-cooled machine that can run your AI models or games without missing a beat.
And it looks pretty. Instead of the usual heavy RGB gaming design, the Vision RS AI 2nd Gen is clean and unobtrusive. Additionally, it can be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 and an Nvidia RTX 5090.
MPG 27QRF X36
Fast OLED displays are everywhere at CES this year, but the MPG 27QRF is one of the better iterations with a 360Hz, 0.5ms panel featuring Nvidia’s G-Sync Pulsar motion clarity and a variable refresh rate.
It also has a built-in webcam and a super sleek design with a sturdy base.
