NYT Strands today (game #681) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #681, are…
- PIZZA
- SORBET
- Popsicles
- WAFFLES
- VEGETABLES
- SPANGRAM: FROZEN FOODS
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 1 clue
After initially thinking we were looking for words for cold weather – “frost” was the first word I spotted in the letter soup – the double Z in PIZZA put me on a different icy path.
You can learn a lot about someone from the contents of their freezer. Mine currently has a lot of Christmas leftovers (I buy too many) and ice packs (I have a bad knee) and none of today’s FROZENFOOD list.
Aside from my sudden WAFFLE craving, this was a fun search that I found quite difficult thanks to the largely right-to-left word order.
