Generally, wet and dry vacuum cleaners are big beasts. Sure, they’ll get your hard floors sparkling clean, but you may need to sit down after using one and an XL cleaning cabinet to store it in, too.
Tineco – one of the leading brands in this field – has released a new model that aims to change all that. The FLOOR ONE i7 Fold is a wet/dry vacuum that looks (and moves) almost like a cordless stick vacuum. I had the chance to try one out at CES 2026 and was impressed by its compactness and agility.
The i7 Fold weighs just under 8 lbs (3.6 kg), which is actually less than some typical stick vacuums, including the cordless Shark PowerDetect (8.38 lbs / 3.8 kg). It’s incredibly streamlined for this type of cleaner, but the feature that really stands out in terms of usability is that it can swivel forward in the middle.
This means it can fold into an L shape for easy cleaning under furniture. It’s an idea borrowed from the best cordless vacuums, and it’s a game-changer if you don’t want to have to get down on the floor to clean under cabinets. This model can also lie completely flat, and Tineco has helpfully added a small wheel under the main body to make maneuvering in this position easier.
The forward curved body also means this cleaner can be folded in half for more compact storage.
A Tineco representative explained to me that shrinking the body of this wet/dry vacuum cleaner was a true feat of engineering. Impressively, there’s no major compromise in performance either – it has just a little less suction power than Tineco’s full-size options, and generally lasts around 20-30 minutes per charge too (or up to 50 in Eco mode), which is decent for this type of cleaner.
The Floor One i7 Fold is presented on the American Tineco website but is not yet available for purchase. I’m confirming launch dates and pricing and will update this article when I know more.
