KOHAT:
A landslide in the mountainous Qamar village of Tehsil Gumbat in Kohat district has claimed seven lives and left one injured, Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred earlier this week when part of a hill suddenly collapsed, burying eight people under huge debris.
Rescue teams launched an intensive search and rescue operation, which has now officially ended after days of continuous efforts.
According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, seven bodies were found in the rubble, while one injured survivor was successfully rescued.
