ISLAMABAD:
The District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a case related to a disputed tweet against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha due to a strike by lawyers.
The matter was taken up by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka. The court was informed that the Islamabad Bar Association was observing a strike due to which regular judicial work could not be carried out. The court postponed the proceedings without taking any concrete decision on the case.
During the hearing, Chattha appeared before the court. However, due to a lack of lawyers, the arguments could not be presented.
