This is what a new post reveals on the Assassin’s Creed subreddit, as spotted by VGC, where the first details about the game’s unannounced downloadable content (DLC) were revealed via a now-deleted Steam listing update.
The first DLC is apparently titled Awaji Claws and is expected to introduce 10 hours of additional content to Shadowsalongside a “new explorable area” and a new type of weapon called “the Bō”.
Since the update was removed from the game’s Steam page, there isn’t much more information, however, some fans are speculating that Awaji Claws could be the previously promised free DLC if you pre-order the game.
Last week, Ubisoft once again delayed Shadows of Assassin’s Creedthis time on March 20 after its original release date of February 14 “as part of a renewed focus on quality gameplay and engaging day one experiences.”
“This additional time will allow the team to better integrate player feedback collected over the past three months and help create the best launch conditions by continuing to engage closely with the increasingly positive environment. Assassin’s Creed community,” Ubisoft said.
The next Assassin’s Creed The game was initially planned for a launch date of November 12, 2024, before being delayed the first time to September 2024.
