Gwyneth Paltrow details filming intimate scenes with a co-star who is almost 20 years younger than her.
On January 9, Paltrow sat down for a chat about her latest project, at the San Vicente Bungalows in Santa Monica, California. There, she reveals the details of filming intimate scenes with Chalamet, 30 years old.
“He was 27 or 28, and I was 50, whatever, and, I mean, it’s weird,” Paltrow told Demi Moore, who participated in the film’s screening and subsequent Q&A.
“And I [thought]’Oh, if it’s weird for me, then it’s probably going to be really weird for [him]”But it was actually good,” she continued. “It wasn’t that weird.”
“There were a lot of sex scenes…and I was a little worried too, I hadn’t done all that stuff in so long, but it was very comfortable and it was okay,” Paltrow added.
Marty Supreme revolves around the story of Marty Mauser, played by Chalamet, a shoe salesman obsessed with becoming the best table tennis player in the world in 1950 New York.
THE Dune The star and Paltrow gained traction in 2024 when the two were spotted filming in Central Park.
Elsewhere, Paltrow also shared her experience working with Chalamet under Josh Safdie.
“He’s so easy to work with,” she said of the recent Golden Globe and Critics Choice winner. “He’s so bright and engaged and comfortable and confident.”
