Ubisoft announced that a free performance upgrade would be released for Far Cry 3: Classic Edition, Far Cry 3: Blood DragonAnd Far from it Primitive on current-gen consoles this week.
Last week, the studio shared a cryptic social media post showing three lines of emoticons relating to three of its Far from it games.
The mysterious message was quickly hacked after it was announced via a YouTube video that Far Cry 3: Classic Edition will receive a free 60 frames per second (fps) update on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on January 21.
But what about the other emoticon lines? Well, Ubisoft has now confirmed that the 60fps performance update will also arrive on the same day for Blood Dragon.

Although the update has not been officially announced since Far Cry Primal for now, the studio has more or less confirmed that “Primitiveis next,” replied one fan, adding “It’s coming” to another.
It’s just a question of when Ubisoft will announce the update, but fans can apparently expect smoother performance in all three games by tomorrow.
The final game in the long-running series is Far cry 6but Ubisoft has not yet officially announced Far cry 7.
In September, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot gave a glimpse into the future of the franchise, revealing that it would now be more focused on multiplayer.
