Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni It ends with us The trial brought to light new details, involving many famous names, including Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
Newly submitted email records revealed that the Gossip Girl alum contacted her co-star Affleck, as well as Damon, when she was having conflicts with Baldoni, over the film.
According to the documents, Lively asked the Goodwill Hunting star to watch his edit of the film and give his opinion.
“I just came out of (well almost) the most upsetting experience I’ve ever had in a movie,” the Simple Favor actress wrote in an email obtained by Us every week.
She continued: “Making the documentary of this film would be more interesting than the film could ever be. It’s like Wild Wild Country, Fyre Festival and Going Clear had a baby with The Room…But Room works too.”
Lively called Baldoni a “chaotic clown” instead of mentioning him by name, and claimed that everyone he hired to work with is “in a cult.”
Also included in the filing was Lively’s email to Damon, which read, “This movie almost killed me. The director/costar/producer/financier/studio head (yes, just one person) had no experience, but the good news is he also has no taste and a huge ego, but only because he is in a cult and believes he is the prophet of our century,” Lively wrote. “I wish just one of those things was hyperbole.”
Damon’s alleged response to Lively claimed he would offer any help she needed. Swift had a similar reaction to her friend’s emails and appeared to offer her full support.
