ASAP Rocky sparked speculation about a feud with Drake after the release of his song, Stolen Ya Flowdue to the brusque attacks apparently directed at the rapper.
The 37-year-old rapper is no longer friends with the 39-year-old Canadian musician, but fans may not be expecting the Kendrick Lamar-Drake rap battle between them, as Rocky has claimed he’s not interested in a fight.
In a new interview, the Rocky Punk The hitmaker said, “I think the tactics and the bullshit in hip-hop, it’s like the WWF. It’s like wrestling to the end, right? But this thing between us, it’s not real smoke,” when Ebro Darden of Apple Music asked about the quarrel.
“I don’t fuck with him”, the Essay noted the singer.
Rocky went on to explain that the estrangement between him and Drake, who had a long-standing relationship with Rihanna before Rocky, was due to “women.”
He continued, “I feel like he wasn’t happy and he expressed that. And I think at some point when everyone gets older and it’s like, you’re supposed to move on. For you to still be picking on a woman and all that, it’s sweet for me. I haven’t put out an album, I haven’t put out music so that I can really say something back.”
In his new single, Rocky seems to be talking about In my feelings hitmaker when he raps: “First you stole my feed, then I stole your bitch. Now I’m a dad, my female dog badder than my toddler / My baby mama Rihanna, so we didn’t bother.”
