The National Assembly on Friday rejected media reports claiming its official YouTube channel had been shut down, clarifying that the platform remained active and that a brief interruption was caused by temporary technical issues rather than a deliberate suspension.
This clarification comes after information circulated in certain media according to which the YouTube channel of the National Assembly had “disappeared”, the live debates, usually broadcast on the platform and on state television, not having been broadcast in recent days. These claims surfaced during a joint sitting of Parliament on Friday in Islamabad.
