Prince Harry’s upcoming UK travel dates revealed for big summer event

Prince Harry, 44, never missed his annual event which will take place in Birmingham this year

Prince Harry just finished a high-stakes trip to the United Kingdom this week, but he’s already looking forward to his next visit.

The Duke of Sussex is expected to return to Britain on July 10 for the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. A source close to the Sussexes told Daily Express that trips are already planned for July and August, although much depends on security arrangements.

“There were discussions when Harry was here before, he said he wanted to come home but he needed to make sure it was a safe place for his wife and family,” the source said, adding: “Meghan has security concerns and serious concerns about some really nasty trolls.”

The ceremony a year before the end of the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 is scheduled for early July, and although no official confirmation has been released, a source said “it is likely he will attend” given Harry, 44, has never missed a countdown since the Invictus Games kicked off in 2014.

Behind the scenes, a risk management committee is currently reassessing Harry’s security status in the UK. A recommendation is expected within weeks, with some reports suggesting a decision in favor of the Sussexes is already ‘locked in’.
