NYT Strands today (game #693) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #693, are…
- POLE
- STICK
- JOB
- STUD
- STICK
- CANE
- BET
- SPANGRAM: STICKY SITUATION
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
It was one of those rare games where finding non-game words was harder than finding one of the seven “direct and to the point” in-game words.
I found spangram first – after seeing stick and sticky, rather than the whole 15-letter beast. And from there, the research proved unsurprising.
My weak point was that there was only one word and only five letters left to connect, while I still managed to spell STAKE incorrectly.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Saturday January 24, Match #692)
- BOAT
- PARTY
- WATER
- NIGHT
- STAR
- LYS
- SPANGRAM: FAMOUS PAINTING
