Princess Beatrice seemed ready to step under the royal radar, but on January 23 in Switzerland, but it didn’t quite turn out that way.
The 37-year-old was spotted at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where she sat down for a conversation with HE Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League and President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars.
Rather than a power suit, BĂ©atrice opted for a navy textured mid-length and flare dress from ME + EM, with ruffles and flowing lines, unexpectedly paired with chunky black biker boots that didn’t go unnoticed by fashion followers.
This visit to Switzerland follows a pleasant weekend in the countryside with her sister, Princess Eugenie, and close friends, where she adopted classic British outdoor style with wellies, khaki pants and a hat that was more Sloane Ranger than Davos delegate chic.
Beatrice’s appearance at Davos shows how she is carving out her own place on the world stage.
Although she is not a working royal with formal duties like some of her cousins, she has quietly maintained a varied public profile, from attending major fundraising galas as a patron and fashion favorite to participating in global initiatives at high-profile gatherings.
Its fashion evolution has not gone unnoticed either. Once teased for her eclectic style choices, she has since earned plaudits from media outlets like Tatler who named her among the best dressed in recent years.
