I wonder if this puzzle would have been easier for players with dogs? Perhaps being around other dog owners would give you a better appreciation of other dog names, perhaps?
This is not the case and I found this one quite difficult. I drew a blank after getting SPOT – I initially thought we were looking for famous dogs – and settled on a hint, then realized I would just have to scan the board to find dog names.
My slow progress was such that it wasn’t until I received the spangram that I realized they were all male dog names.
