ISLAMABAD:
The federal government has approved the promotion of seven Pakistan Police Service (PSP) officers to grade 18, by issuing formal notifications through the Establishment Division on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
The promotions come alongside key inter-provincial posts, reflecting an administrative reshuffle in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as the government moves to fill top police posts and streamline command structures. According to the notifications, Abdullah Imran was promoted to grade 18 and transferred from Balochistan to the Punjab government.
