Louis Tomlinson revealed that his song Impostor from the new album “How Did I Get Here” is one of the most important songs on the entire album.
According to the 34-year-old, the album would have been very different without this soundtrack.
In speaking with producer and songwriter Nicolas Rebscher, the Two of us The singer said: “It’s a cliché to say but I think it would be a really different record without it. It’s a really important song for the album, I would say.”
Meanwhile, the producer highlighted how the song had a bit of a Michael Jackson vibe, saying: “Yeah, for me it was still a bit of Michael Jackson.”
Louis replied: “It’s definitely true, even the way I sing that chorus a little bit, it’s got that kind of vibe.”
Nicholas continued, “Because it shows a totally different side of your performance… it’s awesome.”
Impostor was the former One Direction’s first single released from the album.
On January 23, he released the full disc, which earned him the number one spot on the UK album charts.
Tomlinson even received an award for unlocking this major achievement.
Likewise, his former bandmate Harry Styles also topped the UK singles chart with his song, Opening.
