Marshal receives operational briefing in Quetta and meets injured personnel at Combined Military Hospital

Chief of Defense Force (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that no one can justify violence and terrorism under any pretext during a visit to Quetta following the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, the Army’s media wing said on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), CDF Munir was given a comprehensive operational briefing on the current security environment and ongoing internal security operations. He promised that terrorists and their enablers would not be spared.
“No terrorist and his facilitator will be spared. All will be treated strictly in accordance with the law, and no one can justify violence and terrorism under any pretext,” he was quoted as saying.

The ISPR said the briefing “covered terrorist attacks orchestrated by internationally designated terrorists supported by India.” Fitna al Hindustan and the rapid aggressive response of security forces which failed in their ulterior motive of compromising peace, stability and development in Balochistan.”
The statement maintains that measures are being taken to further strengthen the state’s mandate and ensure the protection of the population and critical infrastructure were also discussed in detail.
CDF Munir further lauded the professionalism, courage and sacrifices of officers and soldiers of all law enforcement agencies in thwarting nefarious anti-Pakistan designs and maintaining law and order in the region, the statement added.
Accompanied by Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti, the field marshal visited the Combined Military Hospital, where he met injured personnel of the Pakistan Army, Balochistan Frontier Corps and police, the ISPR said. COAS Munir praised their high morale as well as their courage and determination to protect the motherland against foreign-sponsored terrorists, the statement added.
