ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stand in solidarity with cancer patients and further strengthen collective efforts to reduce the burden of the disease on the occasion of World Cancer Day. In his message on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan joins the global community in expressing solidarity with all those affected by cancer and renewing its resolve to fight the disease.

He emphasized that the fight against cancer is not just a medical challenge but a shared national responsibility that requires compassion, courage and collective action.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that through policy reforms and expanded partnerships, particularly over the past year, the government has made the national response to cancer more effective, coordinated and robust.
