Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have truly built their California dream life in Montecito, California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Their sprawling $29 million estate includes an outdoor pool, a wine cellar, an over-water spa and a giant play area for the little royals. But it’s the toilets that have everyone talking.
A video from @globalstarhomes revealed that the mansion has nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, leaving fans both perplexed and amused.
Comments poured in: “Nine rooms and 16 toilets. Really?” asked one viewer, while another joked: “16 thrones for the royal family, nice touch!”
Others questioned the practicality, suggesting the couple could downsize and simply enjoy the house.
Large estates often include gyms, spas, games rooms, home theaters and tennis courts, each usually with its own bathroom.
Meghan said the couple knew they found the one as soon as they saw it. “You come in and go… Joy. And exhale. And calm. It’s healing. You feel free,” she said. The Cup.
She also revealed a cute detail about their garden: two palm trees connected at the bottom reminded Harry that they were a family.
“Now, every day when Archie walks by, he says: hello mom. Hi dad,” the duchess said.
Harry also spoke fondly of life in the United States, telling The New York Times DealBook Summit 2024 that he enjoyed the freedom to raise his children in a way they probably couldn’t experience in the United Kingdom.
