ISLAMABAD:
The FIA informed a banking court on Wednesday that it had finalized the trial in the foreign funding case against the PTI founder and others, with a formal submission expected in the coming days after the completion of procedural requirements.
Banking Court Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar heard the case, during which special public prosecutor Wasiq Malik appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
The investigating officer told the court that the case had been finalized and handed over to the relevant authorities. He added that the deputy director of legal affairs would soon complete the remaining legal process.
