ISLAMABAD:
An explosion was reported from Terlai Imambargah in Shehzad Town area of Islamabad on Friday. Police and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
Scenes in videos show serious injuries; no casualties have been confirmed. Emergency situations have been declared at polyclinic, PIMS and CDA hospitals in the federal capital following an explosion at Imam Bargah in Islamabad.
A PIMS spokesperson said the emergency was declared on the instructions of the hospital’s executive director. The injured are transferred to PIMS and the polyclinic for treatment.
