As the Super Bowl entered the fourth quarter, things got a little more intense on the field at Levi’s Stadium.
New England Patriots’ Stefon Diggs and Seattle Seahawks defensive back Josh Jobe grabbed each other by their face masks early in the fourth quarter and had to be separated, but not before a punch was thrown.
The incident occurred shortly after the Seattle Seahawks made it 19-0.

Jobe pushed Diggs onto the turf out of bounds, and Diggs got in Jobe’s face to return some jokes.
Diggs then grabbed Jobe’s facemask before Jobe came back with an open hand towards Diggs’ head. Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins then had to get Diggs out of the situation.
Jobe then threw a left fist at Diggs.
The referees didn’t catch Jobe’s punch, so he stayed in the match.

Perhaps the hubbub lit the fire under the Pats, as Mack Hollins scored a touchdown soon after to make the score 19-7.
For a long time, the game looked like it might be the first in Super Bowl history without a touchdown, but two were scored on consecutive drives in a short period of time after a sluggish offense for three quarters.
