Andrew prepares to deliver final blow after royal family makes clear statement

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor doesn’t appear to be going down without a fight after King Charles dealt a brutal blow.

As pressure grew for a criminal investigation against the former Duke of York, Buckingham Palace issued a strong statement that they would co-operate with police if contacted.

It came just after Kensington Palace said the Prince and Princess of Wales were “deeply concerned” by revelations from the Epstein files. Before them, Prince Edward was the first member of the royal family to make a comment that “always think of the victims and who the victims are.”

Given that the royal family is now “circling the wagon” to protect The Firm, Andrew is ready to put the “final nail in the coffin”, knowing full well it will fall, according to former royal photographer Ian Pelham Turner.

He noted that there had been speculation that Andrew had written a “kiss-and-tell book” about the whole affair and that if this actually materialized, the monarchy would be greatly affected.

The palace statement comes after Thames Valley Police said on Monday they were “assessing” reports that Andrew sent confidential business documents to Epstein in 2010, when he was a British government envoy.
