Two boys stabbed at Kingsbury High School in London: here are the key details

Police are immediately searching for a teenage suspect following a double stabbing at Kingsbury High School in Brent, north west London, this afternoon.

The victims are identified as boys aged 12 and 13. The Metropolitan Police were called to the school in Bacon Lane at around 12.40pm.

The London Ambulance Service treated both victims at the scene, dispatching multiple crews, incident response officers and a trauma team from London Air Ambulance.

One victim was taken to a large trauma center as a priority, while the other was taken to hospital.

There is no current update on their health so far.

The police team led by Detective Superintendent Luke Williams said: “We recognize that this incident will cause considerable concern within the community. »

He said “significant resources” were deployed to locate the suspect, described only as a teenager.

School officials said a “serious incident” had occurred and the situation was “now under control.”

The school grounds are cordoned off and no one is allowed to enter or leave the site while the police investigation continues.

School authorities spoke directly with the parents of the affected students.

The motive for the attack has not yet been identified.
