ISLAMABAD:
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal will represent Pakistan at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh on February 17.
According to sources, the new Prime Minister of Bangladesh will take oath on February 17.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been invited to attend the ceremony, but he will not be able to participate due to his official visit to Austria. In his place, Iqbal will travel to Dhaka and represent the government and people of Pakistan at the event.
