Priyanka Chopra has finally revealed how she got into Hollywood in the first place.
The 43-year-old recently attended the Harvard India Annual Conference, where she spoke with Anjula Acharia and talked about her journey to Hollywood.
Chopra made her debut in an American television series Quantico in 2015, becoming the first Indian actress to headline an American drama.
During a conversation at the conference, the Baywatch The actress revealed that there were a few people who deserved to be congratulated on her Hollywood debut.
She honored late Irrfan Khan and Bollywood Aishwarya Rai for paving the way for her to enter the industry.
Priyanka said, “I truly believe that I stand on the shoulders of incredible artists and talents who came before me. Aishwarya Rai, an icon when she was working in Hollywood, Irrfan Khan, of course, Mindy Kaling.”
She continued, “And I was able to push the door and stand up for what I believe in because they did what they did.”
Today, Chopra is considered part of the American film industry. She has participated in several Hollywood projects, including Love againAmazon Prime series Citadel And Heads of State.
