Cardi B has revealed she plans to go under the needle again once her current tour finishes, admitting she no longer likes the size of her back and wants it to be reduced further.
The 33-year-old rapper made the candid confession backstage at her Little Miss Drama Tour at the Kia Forum in California on February 17.
Talk to The big boy’s neighborhoodCardi has made it clear that her next move has already been decided.
“After this tour, I’m taking it back,” she said.
“After this tour, I don’t want to hear from anyone for three months. I’m going to Colombia. No one has contacted me, nothing. I’m taking that off!”
As she continues to perform energetically on stage, Cardi is increasingly open to reevaluating her past cosmetic choices.
The rapper, who shares a newborn with Stefon Diggs and is also mom to Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 17 months, with ex-husband Offset, has never hidden her body modification history.
In September 2024, she revealed that she had surgically removed around 95% of her injections, explaining that the process required several procedures.
“I still have [expletive] injections removed because you know it takes rounds to get your [them] removed,” she said during an Instagram Live at the time, adding that doctors were also taking care of areas affected by fibrosis.
Cardi previously opened up about receiving illegal injections in 2014 and has since warned young fans against making the same decision.
“All I’m going to say is if you’re young, if you’re 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you’re too skinny,” she said. “And you say, ‘OMG, I don’t have enough fat to put in my butt,’ so you resort to injections, DON’T DO IT!”
Although she’s already had a reduction, Cardi admitted that reducing the size of her butt would require major surgery and months of recovery.
Speaking on the Call her daddy podcast last September, she explained how serious the procedure would be.
“I look in the mirror and it’s like I wouldn’t really change anything,” she said. “Maybe I’d like my butt to be smaller, but it’s, like I said, very difficult for my butt to get smaller.”
She added: “I’ve had a reduction before. To be able to reduce my butt, I literally have to sit on a table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top and stay in bed for about three months.
So, I’m not going to put myself back in this position because you don’t like my body. I learned to live with it. »
Now, however, Cardi says the time finally seems right to make another change, and she plans to do it on her own terms, once the tour is over.
